Last February marked the press conference and launch of “Baca Buku di KRL,” a movement aimed at boosting reading interest by Gramedia, one of Indonesia's largest and most well-known book retailers and publishers. In this campaign, Gramedia collaborated with artist Popomangun to create an art installation resembling a bookshelf.
This eye-catching display is strategically placed at multiple commuter train stations owned by KAI Commuter, offering passengers a visually appealing and accessible opportunity to engage with literature during their journeys. Gramedia, known for its dedication to promoting reading culture and literacy, spearheaded this initiative to make reading more accessible and enjoyable for commuters.
